The concern about safety is a moot point, in my opinion. Danger always rears its head at times and the speaker clearly described it as the students not wanting them there. Racism is a very real part of the world and disregarding it as inherently evil or bad is a form of persecution that certainly goes against freedom of speech and the ideal of libertarianism which is the kind of society we should always strive to live in.
